“I started kidsPACK for one reason – to feed kids. kidsPACK is the direction in my life and an answer to why I am here”. Randy Browning
Randy Browning founded the kidsPACK Polk Project following a long history of charitable volunteer work with the Salvation Army, United Way and Project Care Outreach, as well as several other charitable organizations.
The formation of kidsPACK was inspired after learning of the growing number of homeless children suffering in hunger and threatened by hopelessness in our neighborhoods today. For Browning, the heartfelt calling to help is simple; build a solution to help children and the people in the community will come to the rescue.
Browning was born in Manassas, Virginia located approximately 25 miles from Washington DC where he was educated and began his career in the transportation industry. By the age of 26, he held an Executive Management position with an agent of United Van Lines. In 1998, Browning invested in a small warehouse company located in Lakeland, Florida, which would later become Browning Moving & Storage, an agent of United Van Lines in 2002. Today Browning Moving & Storage is among the most highly rated professional relocation companies in Florida.
Browning is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations including the Florida Movers and Warehousemen’s Association, Lakeland and Tallahassee Chambers of Commerce, Lakeland Association of Realtors and Kiwanis to name a few. Outside of professional interests, he enjoys traveling, fishing, reading and spending time with his family.
